Michelle Sabin, DDS

Dr. Michelle Sabin is committed to providing excellent services in general, restorative, and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. She believes in providing quality care and comfort through a comprehensive view of oral health. Her fresh approach uses digital dentistry to connect with her patients, build strong relationships, and collaboratively help them reach their goals. Dr. Sabin is honored and eager to serve the community of San Francisco where she aims to provide seamless, comforting care to all patients. Dr. Sabin grew up in Sacramento, California in a tight knit family whose parents are both practicing family physicians. After gaining her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University she returned to Northern California where she gained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. In her spare time Dr. Sabin enjoys weight lifting, yoga, reading, and catching up with friends and family.

Nisha Patel, DDS

We are excited to welcome Dr. Nisha Patel to Marina Grins Dental! Originally from Southern California, Dr. Patel earned her doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She began her career managing a free clinic at UC San Diego, which inspired her passion for serving underserved communities. During dental school, she coordinated the St. Vincent de Paul Free Clinic Project in Detroit, expanding access to care.

After graduating, Dr. Patel gained experience practicing with her father in California before transitioning to community clinics and later specializing in comprehensive and Invisalign care in West Los Angeles. With over a decade of experience, she focuses on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and receives tailored, high-quality care.

Dr. Patel stays current with continuing education and is a member of the ADA, CDA, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Bay Area, hiking, cooking, and discovering new restaurants. Feel free to share your favorite spots with her!

Joanna Meekay, DDS Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Joanna Meekay is a board certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Northern California native, and grew up in a large Armenian household in Sacramento, After college, she attended dental school at University of the Pacific, where she was social chair for her class and dental fraternity, Delta Sigma Delta, attended dental mission trips, was a founding member of an advanced treatment planning study club, and a recipient of the Henry Sutro Clinical Excellence Award. After earning her DDS in 2017, she completed a general practice residency at NYU Langone - Brooklyn. After spending one cold winter in New York City, she came running back to the bay area to complete her pediatric dental residency at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During this time, she also obtained a M.S. in craniofacial sciences. Joanna loves to take her mini poodle on walks in her neighborhood in San Francisco, catch up on podcasts,
and play tennis. When she isn't trying new restaurants with friends in the city, you can find her playing hide-and-go seek with her 7 nieces and nephews! Joanna is excited to join the fabulous team at Marina Grins Dental.

Linda Kuo, DDS

Dr. Linda Kuo grew up in Kansas with Midwest roots before moving to the West Coast for school. She attended UC Berkeley and then graduated with highest honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry. She completed her AEGD residency at Bay Pines Veterans Affair Hospital in Florida and returned to San Francisco to practice.  She is always accepting new patients.   She continuously strives to improve all smiles and improve oral health. She teaches part-time at UOP Dugoni School of Dentistry in the pre-clinical courses and is a faculty member on the clinic floor. She is actively involved in her local and state dental societies and loves to stay busy within her professional career. Outside of dentistry, you'll find her outdoors somewhere hiking, backpacking, travelling or climbing.

Elena Heredia, DDS

Dr. Elena Heredia is a highly accomplished dentist born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her passion for dentistry was ignited during her time in Sacramento, where she discovered her dedication to providing exceptional dental care to patients. After completing her undergraduate studies in Biological Studies at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Heredia pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of California, San Francisco. Throughout her dental education, she excelled academically, earning recognition as the Dean's scholar for her outstanding achievements and commitment to community service. Committed to delivering top-quality dental care, Dr. Heredia prioritizes the overall well-being of her patients. Her genuine dedication and compassionate approach ensure that each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs. Dr. Heredia maintains active memberships in esteemed professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the San Francisco Dental Society. By staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry, she continually enhances her skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care. In addition to her dental expertise, Dr. Heredia is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients. She currently resides in San Francisco with her family, cherishing the opportunity to serve her community.
